STC Knowledge Hubs
STC-Group has developed foreign knowledge hubs, which have grown from a long history of (development) projects and training program into fully owned subsidiaries or joint ventures, in which similar education programs are provided as the ones provided in Rotterdam.
The specific knowledge and experience on shipping and transport in different parts of the world will be made available to STC-Korea, by exchanging training materials, readers, cases, thesis reports and (guest) lecturers. The knowledge hubs are also used to support participants with their thesis projects.

Vietnam
In Hanoi, STC Vietnam is located, an fully-owned STC-Group subsidiary.
Secondly, STC-Group has a joint venture with Vinalines in VINA–STC in Haiphong, where a brand new Training Institute is being built. UT-STC is another joint venture, located in Ho Chi Minh City. Partner is Vietnam Transport University.
Southern Africa
STC-SA Ltd., own STC Branch office in Johannesburg from where training programs are provided, e.g. pilot training, train-the-trainer courses and ISPS training.
Philippines
Netherlands Shipping Training Centre in Palompon, which is a joint venture with KVNR, Royal Dutch Ship-owners Association.
Oman
International Maritime College Oman, Muscat / Sohar: joint venture with Government of Oman & Port of Sohar.
